Vanessa Hudgens headed out for some errand-running this past Wednesday while the sun was out and temps were warm. Dressed in a sexy black string tank top with a red bra strap peeking out, she looks like she’s really ready for summer to arrive!

Zac Efron’s leading lady apparently had some car trouble though when one of her front tires blew out, and she pulled into a Bristol Farms grocery store in Beverly Hills. She ended up calling AAA to come help her, and one of the front quarter panels of her Audi looks like it suffered some scrapes and scratches.

She didn’t stick around for long, though, and ended up calling a friend who picked her up a short time later.

Zac Efron and girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens took in a Lakers basketball game last night Staples Center in downtown Los Angeles, and the pics are so cute!

The cute couple were really enjoying the game and each others’ company as they cheered, laughed, smiled and cuddled. This is a huge treat for Zac and Vanessa fans since we don’t often get to see them so affectionate toward each other in public!

It was a good night for the Lakers as well, who beat the Charlotte Bobcats with a final score of 99-97.

An extended version of Vanessa Hudgens’ most recent Ecko Red ad, which aired just this past fall, has been released.

In the one-minute long video, Vanessa heads into a club with friends, dances in the bathroom, gets spun around and just generally has a good time. I have to say commercials like this look like they’d be a blast to do because you probably don’t have to do much beyond having some fun!

Remember the rumor from a couple of weeks ago about Zac Efron taking on the title role in the upcoming, revamped Spider-Man 4 movie? It seems rags across the world have gotten ahold of the tidbit and and reporting that he’s already gotten the part.

One “insider” claims that Zac has not only been offered $9 million for the movie, but that Tobey Maguire, who is vacating the Spidey spot after three movies, is the one who suggested him.

It gets better, though — apparently Zac’s longtime girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens‘ has been tossed around for the part of Spidey’s girlfriend, Mary Jane Watson.

However, nothing official has been announced by either Zac’s or Vanessa’s people, so until that happens I’m thinking this is just an out of control rumor, especially considering Zac’s very recently announcements that he’s got two movies lined up for the year already.

Hot on the heels of the announcement this week that Zac Efron will be starring in and executive producing “Fire,” an adaption from the graphic novel of the same name, he’s also going to be starting work on what’s being described as a “Back to the Future-esque” type movie.

The film is described as a blending of two projects, one from writers Tim Calpin and Kevin Jakubowski, and the other a WB project called “Algorithm.”

These both sound like great projects for Zac, who’s been determined to shed his Disney/High School Musical image for the last year or so!

Zac’s newest movie, The Death and Life of Charlie St. Cloud, is currently in post-production and is slated for a June 11, 2010 release. The movie is based on the book of the same name. In it, Zac stars as Charlie St. Cloud, a young man trying to come to terms with the accidental death of his younger brother.

Zac Efron’s girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens was spotted out and about in West Hollywood yesterday taking in a little bit of retail therapy.

Wearing a really cute black sweater and dark blue jeans, she hit the Diesel store on her own and walked out with a few purchases.

Vanessa and Zac will be taking part in next week’s Help Haiti event hosted by George Lopez.

Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens are doing their best to help out Haiti again, this time announcing that they’ll be appearing at a Help Haiti concert hosted by comedian George Lopez next Thursday, February 4th.

Zac and his longtime girlfriend Vanessa helped out last week with the celebrity-driven Hope For Haiti telethon, hosted by George Clooney, and were joined by over 100 other big name celebs.

Next week’s Help Haiti is also drawing in the stars, and lists Ray Romano, Margaret Cho, and Ozzy Osbourne on the roster to appear.

About the event, George Lopez wrote on his website:

“The people of Haiti need our help. On Thursday, February 4th, I am throwing a benefit concert called ‘Help Haiti’ at the Nokia Theatre L.A. LIVE here in Los Angeles. The best musicians, comedians and athletes will be there for the cause, including my friends Andy Garcia, Slash and Samuel Jackson. One-hundred percent of the proceeds will go to directly to Haiti to help the victims and their families. Keep checking this page for more information on how to purchase tickets for Help Haiti.”

Though he didn’t get a part in director Zack Snyder’s Sucker Punch alongside his girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens (he apparently asked!), rumor has it that Zac Efron may have landed a part in Snyder’s adaptation of the graphic novel “Fire,” which centers around a college student who is inducted into a special CIA program that tests whether training ordinary citizens to be agents can be successful.

E Online says Zac is not only slated to star in the film, but that he’s executive producing it as well!

I think this is definitely a step in the right direction for Zac, who stated not too long ago that he’s breaking ties with his Disney and High School Musical image and intends to take on more adult roles.

Zac Efron’s longtime girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens recently recorded a short video for the Facebook fan page of her upcoming movie “Beastly.” The page had gained 5,000 fans by Christmas, which Vanessa says happened in record time. She also mentions she’s currently working on some other cool Beastly things.

The page currently has over 7,000 fans, and Vanessa wants to see how long it’ll take to hit 15,000. My guess is not too long!

Beastly is about Kyle Kingson (Alex Pettyfer), a popular kid with a mean streak who skips out on a date with Kendra, played by Mary-Kate Olsen. Kendra turns out to be a witch who curses him to become everything he hates, and the transformation leaves Kyle with the task of finding true love (Vanessa, of course) to break the ugly spell.

Beastly is slated for a July 30, 2010 release.
