~ Zachary David Alexander Efron was born in San Luis Obispo, California, on October 18, 1987. His parents are David and Starla, and he has a brother named Dylan. They have two Australian Shepherds named Dreamer and Puppy, and a Siamese cat named Simon.
~ He has starred in the television shows ER, Firefly, The Guardian and Summerland, as well as a made-for-TV movie called Miracle Run.
~ He graduated high school in June 2006.
~ He and Vanessa Anne Hudgens met during casting calls for High School Musical when they were continually paired up (the powers-that-be must have seen the chemistry that early on!).
~ His favorite cartoon is Rocko’s Mondern Life; his favorite gum is Orbit; his ringtone is the theme from Rocky; his favorite movie quote is “I’ll be back” from Terminator 2; his favorite TV shows are American Idol and World Series Of Poker; his favorite book is Busting Vegas by Ben Mezrich.
He also loves wearing sandals.
