Zac and Vanessa as Donny and Marie?
This is another “I really hope this is just a rumor” things because it kind of squicks me out: Supposedly Disney would like Zac and Vanessa to play brother and sister Super Duo of the 70s Donny and Marie Osmond in a TV movie.
“The Osmond brother and sister duo ruled TV with a long running variety show in the 70’s, and their private lives featured lots of backstage drama. It’ll be a challenge for makeup artists to make Zac and Vanessa look like brother and sister, but it sounds like fun with those 70’s haircuts and platform shoes.”
Zac and Vanessa have been quoted as saying they want more adult roles after the High School Musical movies and I don’t think that includes playing super-squeaky siblings.
