Will the Next Gabriella Montez Please Stand Up?
Rumors are still floating around that Vanessa Hudgens may be replaced by Adrienne Bailon for the role of Gabriella Montez in High School Musical 3. Adrienne is 23 and is currently part of Disney’s Cheetah Girls group, which has also just announced it’s third TV movie, “Cheetah Girls 3: Indian Adventure!” (It’s also worth mentioning that IMDB, which had Adrienne listed last week in the role of Gabriella, has now changed it back to Vanessa’s profile.)
A supposed insider has said that Adrienne said she’ll be dying her blonde hair dark and has been encouraged by Disney to build her image with the press to make herself more visible. UGH. I’ve seen both Cheetah Girls movies and I’m sorry but I didn’t think any of those girls can act, and Adrienne bugged me most of all. Disney has told The Enquirer, however, that the rumors are false and there have been no talks with Adrienne about the role. At this point I guess only time will tell.

As u can tell im not a fan of tween darling, but hey her performance was not that great in both movies. That’s not saying much considering most of the cast w/ the exception of bleu, efron, and olysea, was not that great. She needs more classes.

Hi funniness! I do actually agree with you - I think Vanessa could use a few acting lessons, but for some reason Adrienne just really bugs. So for that I prefer Vanessa over her!

Vanessa is cool to but she alway play baby making people think that he i all inocent and even when people found the nude photo they still fell for her baby act! i hope V stays in hsm3 but that doesnt mean i like her more than Adrienne i just think it would be to werid with a different Gabriella Montez!

Look Vanessa is way better than Adrienne Whatever and I really think that Nessa needs to be choose over her and it’ll be so weird to see Zac kiss another Gabriella Montez and I’m sure she has much more fans than Adrienne so if she leaves her role, they’ll be really really disappointed that she’ll take her role instead. And Vanessa is way more prettier and she sings really well.And do not forget she is Zac’s girlfriend… SO… LETS GO NESSA!!!:)♥

Ok…..so v is cute and acts ok too…..and it would be weird adri playing her in the new movie but you cant argue with the fact that adri is cute too and can sing like hell….. I would be less ashamed of liking high school musical if adri was in it to be honest….. But she should be written in as a new person surely? Well adri has alot to give so…..lets see what happens oh and Vanessa looked amazing in those pix Shes an adult and can get naked for her man whenever she wants lol rock on v! X

ok im sorry but all of yall that think vanessa hudgens is better than adrienne are dead wrong open your ears people v can not sing. i like hsm especial hsm2 since they sinthesized like all those ppls voices. but tcg was so much better and the 2nd tcg had the best storyline out of all the hsm and tcg movies. but i will say this Adrienne would not be a good gabriella for these following reasons.1. she is too pretty. 2. she can sing so much better than v. 3. she is too good of an actress. 4. if you take out even just one of the main characters from the movie than it will kinda suck. so i hate to offend anyone but ….. you get my point…..but i also think that disney should not penalize v for a laps in judgement.

I think that High School Musical wouldnt be High School Musical without Vanessa and it would be to weird to change the main character after they have already made two with her.
And I think that Adrienne is a gr8 actor but she is way better as main character in Cheetah girls than High School Musical!!!
I agree that they should maybe add Adrienne as a different character, e.g. A new friend for Sharpay and another enemy for Gabriella.
And just cause Vanessa has bn puttin nude pics on da web…. so wat!!!! Most celebs do and I can bet it wont b long b4 adrienne does it 2!!!

Hm well Vanessa, I totally dislike her. But not enough to use the term hate, that would be saved for a different Disney star. As for Adrienne, I adore her! She can sing unlike Vanessa’s fake, obviously the studio messed with it, voice. Plus Adrienne is prettier, more talented, and not a s***. So yeah. But I wouldn’t watch even is she was ins HSM3 because that movie will probably be worse than the first two. So w/e
