CosmoGIRL! Tries to Apologize for Untrue Vanessa Story
CosmoGIRL! has apologized for the untrue story they posted about Vanessa’s supposed arrest last week for underage drinking. The site says:
Hey, CG!s. Two days ago we posted in our Daily Gossip Round Up an unsubstantiated rumor that has now been proven untrue on Vanessa Hudgens being arrested for underage drinking. Here’s what we posted:
“It might be hard to believe, but Vanessa Hudgens was arrested for underage drinking, according to BackSeatCuddler.com.”
First, we DID NOT report that she was arrested; we stated that another site was reporting she had been. We want to apologize to you our readers and to Vanessa for not further stating that it was still unconfirmed. We pulled that story because the source turned out to not be credible.

However, they’re claiming they only posted a paragraph about the story, saying:
“Here’s what we posted: “It might be hard to believe, but Vanessa Hudgens was arrested for underage drinking, according to BackSeatCuddler.com.”
but several sites have screencaps that prove otherwise, complete with a quote from Vanessa’s mom. Yeah, this might not seem like a big deal, but CosmoGIRL! isn’t winning themselves any brownie points for trying to downplay their role in the rumor.
