Are Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens Engaged?

A fresh, new Zanessa rumor has surfaced! Apparently Zac Efron and longtime girlfriend/co-star Vanessa Hudgens are engaged, according to The National Enquirer (so take it with a hefty grain of salt).
Zac is said to have proposed to Vanessa while the pair were in Japan in January promoting High School Musical 3, and have set a date for a 2010 wedding.
Vanessa’s mom Gina is said to be the one to push the two to get married, wanting Zac to “make an honest woman” of Vanessa and that the whole family adores him and think they’re perfect for each other.
I’m sort of leaning toward it not being true, given the fact that I can’t imagine Vanessa’s mom spilling to anyone like that, and the fact that they’ve each bought new houses within the last few months. I guess we’ll see!

i hope they are not engadged. i think its a rumour because non of them have spoke publically to say its not true or to say it is. i personally dont think they should get married just now anyway because thy are so young. i have also hear that the two of them are in the middle of a break up because vanessa has been cheating a dont know if its true. if it is true she doesnt deserve zac bacause he is a nice guy and he doesnt need that. he should be with someone who loyal and that loves him not one that cheats. i also hope that, that rumour isnt true.
