The official website for Zac’s upcoming movie, “Me and Orson Welles,” has been launched!

We don’t get much info aside from it opening sometime next year, but we do get a big pic of Zac peaking through some stage curtains and if you click on “Gallery” you can see a few stills as well (several of which we’ve already seen, but who’s complaining?).

“The Story” sums it up as:

The story of a whirlwind week in 1937 NYC when a young aspiring actor (Zac Efron) is thrown into the middle of Orson Welles’ Mercury Theatre Company on the even of the opening of Welles’ historic staging of Shakespeare’s Julius Caesar.

During this week, Richard will find romance with a worldly older woman (Claire Danes), become immersed in a creative experience few are afforded, and lear the downside of crossing the imperious, brilliant Welles (strikingly portrayed by newcomer Christian McKay).

Richard is about to grow up FAST.

Some of the outtakes for Zac’s Entertainment Weekly photoshoot from this past summer have been released and you know, I wouldn’t want that job — these looks just as good to me as the ones that made it in, I couldn’t make those decisions!

ET has released their “Top Ten Hunks of 2008″ and Zac made the cut!

It’s not a surprise for his fans, of course, and he joins Robert Pattinson, Tony Romo, Reggie Bush, Shia LaBeouf, Adam Rodriguez, Chris Pine, James Franco, Jay Hernandez and Simon Baker for the title.

Vanessa Hudgens and BFF Ashley Tisdale took advantage of yesterday’s Black Friday deals and did a little shopping at Bloomingdales.

Vanessa was looking very casual in black pants, a cute plaid shirt and bright red lipstick.

Could Zac be in High School Musical 4?

He was snapped leaving Walt Disney Studios this week with what appears to be a script in hand, so of course speculation is running rampant!

What do you think? I’m sure it was offered to him but both he and Vanessa have said it’s time for them to move on. If it’s not a script for HSM4 I wonder what it could be instead!

Vanessa Hudgens took in a little bit of shopping this week with little sis Stella.

I’m not sure what I think of her shoes but she looked as cute as always anyway. She almost looks sad in a few shots, hopefully she was just bored!

This is just flat-out weird. Transformers hottie Megan Fox recently spilled in an interview that she’s “obsessed” with Zac:

“Zac Efron is my obsession, we’re the same person. We’re not actually here, it’s like Janet and Michael Jackson. He just puts on his wig and a dress, and it’s me, and you don’t know that. It’s one of the greatest mysteries of all time.”

Does this totally not make sense to anyone else?

Vanessa’s 20th birthday is just three weeks away and it’s got me wondering what you think Zac should get her!

We still don’t know what she got him for his 21st birthday last month, but we know he’s already bought her a pretty pricey housewarming gift.

So what do you think? Maybe something small and sentimental, something big and splashy, or maybe another vacation to recuperate from the HSM3 whirlwind?

Zac Efron and Leonardo DiCaprio ended up side-by-side at a Lakers game last night!

We’ve known for a while how much Zac admires Leo and Leo has recently said he admires Zac as well and was happy to pass on the title of “Teen Heartthrob” to him.

Of course, not really!

But in their upcoming movie 17 Again Zac plays Michelle’s dad at a much younger age, and Michelle wants everyone to know it:

“I wanna wear a shirt to the 17 Again premiere that says ‘Zac Efron’s My Daddy!‘” she told Usmagazine.com at the Reebok “Flash” event on Wednesday in NYC.

“I don’t think his girlfriend would like it much!”

I don’t think Vanessa would mind, do you?
