Zac Efron Wins Best Male Performance at MTV Awards
Zac Efron took home the popcorn award for Best Male Performance at the MTV Movie Awards last night!
Zac was also up with girlfriend and High School Musical 3 co-star Vanessa Hudgens for Best Kiss in HSM3, but that went to Twilight. Vanessa was up for Breakthrough Performance Female but it went to HSM3 co-star Ashley Tisdale.

Did you catch Zac Efron at the MTV Movie Awards last night?
He was looking very nice on the red carpet in a slate gray suit, skinny tie, and wind-swept hair. I’m still not loving the ‘do, but on Zac I’ll let it pass!

Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens at the Kids Choice Awards
Holding hands and looking obviously happy to be together again (and surprisingly well-rested!), Zac Efron and girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens arrived at the 2009 Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards tonight at UCLA’s Pauley Pavilion in LA.
They both dressed casually, Zac in a t-shirt, jeans and sneakers, and Vanessa in a fringed vest, sleeveless top, shorts and boots.
Vanessa won the award for Favorite Female Movie Star, and High School Musical 3 won Favorite Movie.

Zac Efron to Present at the Academy Awards

Zac Efron will be making an appearance at the 81st Annual Academy Awards later this month!
Though he won’t be going onstage with a nomination, he will be presenting for the Best Original Song category, which I think is appropriate! No word if he’ll have a co-presenter yet.
The Academy Awards will air this Sunday, February 22 at 8 PM EST, 5 PM PST on ABC.

Vanessa Hudgens Scores Nickelodeon Kids Choice Nomination

Zac’s girlfriend and co-star Vanessa Hudgens has nabbed a nomination in this year’s Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards. She’s up for Favorite Female Movie Star for High School Musical 3!
She’s got some stiff competition and is up against Jennifer Aniston for Marley & Me, Anne Hathaway for Get Smart, and Reese Witherspoon for Four Christmases.
Though Zac didn’t get a nomination himself, High School Musical 3: Senior Year is up for Favorite Movie.
Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is hosting the award show, and voting starts March 2 on Nick.com/kca. The big show will be broadcast live on March 28 on Nickelodeon!

Set your DVR! Zac has been added to the list of celebs that will be presenting at the 66th Annual Golden Globe Awards this weekend!
The Golden Globes will be airing Sunday, January 11 at 8:00 PM ET/PT on NBC.

Zac was interviewed on the red carpet at this year’s SAGA Awards in January. He talked about how he keeps from getting a big head, dealing with young fans, and how grateful he is for High School Musical.
