Vanessa Hudgens Talks Superheroes
June 26, 2009 by Heather
Vanessa Hudgens recently sat down for a quick interview with MTV while on the set of Beastly to talk about kickass female comic characters.

When asked what superhero film she’d love to see an adaptation of, Vanessa, who’s been dating Zac Efron for several years now, said she’d like to see a movie about Wonder Woman. She then explained how it was Catwoman that made her parents realize how much she wanted to get into acting:
“Honestly, when I was a kid, one of the reasons my parents realized I loved showbiz was because I dressed up every single day in my Catwoman costume. So maybe someday, down the line… I could play Catwoman.”
The full interview on video can be seen at MTV.com.
What do you think? Would Vanessa make a good Catwoman?

Zac Efron is Never Getting Married
April 14, 2009 by Heather
At least, that’s what he’s told GQ Magazine! Zac says he won’t get married until he’s at least 40, if ever, and he won’t do heroin either (good to know!). I wonder what girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens thinks of the first part?
Zac explains: “I’m definitely not getting married. In this business, you’re either getting married or they want you to be pregnant.”
Zac seems a lot more like himself in the article, seemingly letting down his guard (cussing a time two, too!) while talking about acting, Hollywood, paparazzi, and even 17 Again.
The May issue, which hits newsstands April 21st, features a highly-coiffed Zac on the cover and a full-length interview inside.
Zac Efron the Cover of ‘USA Weekend’
April 10, 2009 by Heather

Zac Efron is on the cover of this week’s edition of “USA Weekend” magazine!
In the accompanying article, Zac touches on something he’s mentioned a lot recently, that he’s growing up and moving away from the Disney image he had for so many years thanks to the High School Musical movies. Even though his current movie, 17 Again, is about getting the chance to do things over again at age 17, he says he was able to do the part differently: “I saw it as a more complex part that could help me shift into adult material.”
Zac also talks about his fast rise to stardom and how it’s affected him over just the last few years:
“I didn’t want to be famous,” he explains. “I get sick of seeing my own face around.
“I used to get so frustrated. For a while, I felt like I was completely lost in celebrity-land. I didn’t know how to handle it. Now I know that I have to plot where I’m going, when I’m going there and where the back entrance is. It’s like I’m playing a giant game of tag.”

17 Again hits theaters in the U.S. next Friday, April 17th.

Zac Efron Not Into Online Socializing
Zac Efron recently told the Daily 10 that you won’t find him on Twitter! He asks if there’s an opposite of Twitter before sharing a bit of the music he’s got on his phone.
It seems to be a popular question lately as he just told People that he’s not on Myspace or Facebook either because he values people not knowing what he’s doing all the time.
He jokingly said a typical post for him would be something like “I’m on the toilet. Still on the toilet. Guys, dot-dot-dot, out of TP. Still on the toilet.”
He also got a question from a very cute seven year-old who asked if it was love at first sight with girlfriend and High School Musical co-star Vanessa Hudgens. Zac answers in the affirmative.
Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens Talk About Sexy Shoot
March 31, 2009 by Heather

In a recent interview with Access Hollywood, Zac Efron talked about his steamy photo shoot earlier this month for Interview magazine. He said it was “pretty crazy” and “just kind of happened,” and that the model he worked with was “so professional. It wasn’t really up to me so I just kind of rolled with it.”
Zac also mentions that he was happy with how it all turned out: “The photographer was very cool and I saw what he wanted to do,” he said. “I had a great time. It was a refreshing kind of change.”
Zac’s longtime girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens also commented on the spread, saying “Damn. They’re sexy.” When asked if she was jealous about the whole thing she said, “They’re pictures. It’s hot.”

Zac Efron on the UK’s GMTV
Zac Efron made one final appearance in the UK yesterday before heading home. In a sit-down interview with GMTV (Good Morning Television), a morning news show, Zac talks about how surprised he still gets by the legions of fans that show up to see him.
They chat about the movie for a bit and Zac mentions how closely he and co-star Matthew Perry (who plays the older character to Zac’s younger character) actually worked together and how Zac would call him up to get his advice now and then. They talk for a few minutes about Zac’s own high school experience and whether he’d want to go back to being 17 again himself.
The basketball that seems to follow Zac around from appearance to appearance is produced and he explains that High School Musical co-star Corbin Bleu taught him how to spin it on his finger, though he doesn’t perform the trick until the end of the clip. They talk about upcoming projects and Zac says this is the first time he hasn’t really had a game plan for future projects and that he’s going to take his time while looking forward to something new.
Zac Efron on the Graham Norton Show
March 27, 2009 by Heather
Zac Efron is hitting the talk show circuit while in the UK this week for the premiere of his newest movie, 17 Again.
On the Graham Norton show yesterday, Zac talked about the difference between British fans and French fans (he says the French fans don’t want pictures and autographs, just kisses. Hell yeah!), and his sense of humor is in full effect when David Walliams, on the couch with him, asks him who his favorite character is on his show, Little Britain. Zac responds with “I want bitty!,” which is a reference to a skit about a full-grown breastfeeding man.
In the rest of the show Zac talks about his co-star Leslie Mann, who plays his wife in the movie, and how he learned to play basketball for the High School Musical movies and 17 Again, and demonstrates by spinning a basketball on his finger.

In the clip above Zac and Rove talk about rippling abs, his fanbase, the Oscars, his earlier TV and movie appearances, and of course, the sex shop rumor.
