Apparently Vanessa’s upcoming movie (should we just start calling it that?) is going through another name change: First it was Will, then Rock On, and now it’s supposedly going to be Bandslam. Vanessa talked about it a little bit in an interview with NeXt:

NeXt: What are your upcoming projects?

Vanessa: I just released my second album, “Identified.” I’m going to be going on tour. I did a movie called, well, it was called “Rock On”, but I guess they’re changing the name again, and that comes out in, I think, February. I’m really excited about that because it’s a different role for me to play, because in “High School Musical” I’m like the happy, sweet girl. In ["Rock On"] I’m kind of like the dark, weird, gloomy, has-no-friends girl.

She also talks about High School Musical 3 and Identified!

This video is a couple of months old because Vanessa’s still referring to “Rock On” by its original title “Will,” but it’s a cute behind the scenes look at her shoot for the August issue of CosmoGirl magazine, which should be hitting stands any day now!

Vanessa Hudgens was recently interviewed by Hilarie Barsky on Good Morning America Radio on XM satellite while she was doing the rounds for the ‘Identified’ release.

She’s asked about getting time to herself, High School Musical 3, last year’s nude photo “scandal,” how she handles the paparazzi, and skillfully dodges the love life question!

Vanessa was on Good Morning America this morning talking about “Identified,” her state fair tour that starts in August, High School Musical 3, a birthday shout-out to Ashley Tisdale, Rock On (formerly Will), and what it’s like growing up in the public eye!

Heads up! Vanessa Hudgens‘ upcoming movie “Will” has gone through a title change and is now “Rock On!”
