Vanessa Hudgens Talks About Her Nude Photos
April 17, 2008 by Heather
GQ Magazine’s May 2008 has an interview with Vanessa Hudgens wherein she talks about her popularity and the nude photo scandal from last summer:
“If you have paparazzi, you know you’ve gotten somewhere,” the 19-year-old High School Musical star says.
When asked about her nude photo scandal, Vanessa shrugs it off, sayin, “Honestly, you have your ups and downs. But it’s over with and it’s done.”
As for her sophomore album, tentatively titled Identified, she says, “But not to the point where I’m singing I’m so hot! I’m so hot! Boys want me. I’m so hot!”
Vanessa and the gang (including Zac Efron) are currently at a top secret location in Utah shooting the feature film, High School Musical 3.
Top secret location? Is this a new development or were they too lazy to do any research?
High School Musical 3 Update
April 7, 2008 by Heather
Zac Efron is supposedly still in England on “Me and Orson Welles” but of course is expected in Utah soon where pretty much everyone else from the cast is already rehearsing!
High School Musical 3 is being filmed during the actual East High’s school year, unlike the previous two movies which were filmed during summer break. Because of this, filming is scheduled to take place before and after school hours to minimize distractions and interruptions for both the school and the filming. During-school shots will happen in the gym while the regular PE classes are outside.
Why is the school so eager to cater? The Deseret Morning News says:
Aside from donations to the school from the last two productions, another plus is the public relation benefits for the school’s image.
Since the initial movie was made, visitors have come in droves to East High just to see the school. And last year the school’s drama program put on a production of “High School Musical” that sold out every night.
State officials credit the Motion Picture Incentive Fund for the ever-increasing number of feature films produced in Utah over the past few years. The now $5.5 million fund offers a rebate, capped at $500,000, for every production filmed in the state.
Rumors of surprise cameos during the movie have also sprung up - Johnny Depp, Simon Cowell, even Britney Spears. Who would you like to see make a surprise appearance in the movie?
